Virtual Rally against Canada Goose Union Busting

On behalf of Canada Goose workers in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They request your personal and your organization's support in our fight against Canada Goose and Bain Capital’s union busting. In 2013 Bain bought 70% of Canada Goose. At that time the company was nearly 100% union. Today they are only about 30% as Bain’s Canada Goose is steadily deunionizing. Your show of solidarity will be invaluable to their cause.

On June 30th at 4pm EDT, their organization, and labour activist groups in Massachusetts, are hosting a virtual rally that they would like you and your organization to attend. It is a Zoom meeting that will feature a livestream of the rally outside Bain’s headquarters in Boston. The speaking program will include rising progressive star and mayoral candidate Councillor Michelle Wu, Greater Boston Labor Council Secretary-Treasurer Darlene Lombos, and a surprise special guest to be announced soon. Canada Goose workers will also be speaking. Following the speeches, it will transition to a planning meeting where viewers can learn about and help to determine their next actions against Canada Goose.

The huge profits that Bain continues to earn are made on the backs of our people’s hard work and pain. Join us in winning this fight and getting Canada Goose workers the justice and representation, they deserve.

You can show your support by:

1) Attend and participate in the event. Register HERE

2) Sign and share their petition

3) Write them a statement of support or make a video that we can publish.

It is with love and solidarity that we will build a better future together. They look forward to the opportunity to stand in support and solidarity with you in the future. Thank you for your consideration.
